We are thrilled ExperienceAIS won the award for outstanding delivery of services that enhance the visitor experience and integrate with other tourism products.

Through the AIS campus, not only are we powering the performance of our athletes but we are also able to promote the success and inspirational stories of our athletes, the sport science that supports them as well as encourage greater physical activity through engagement with our many visitors. The campus is also special place as a valued cultural, community and entertainment hub for the Canberra region.

The award recognises the outstanding teamwork and excellence across our events, accommodation, tours, shop, nutrition, aquatic, fitness, venue, security, catering, AIS operations, cleaning, maintenance, horticulture, facilities, athlete engagement and corporate teams in providing high quality experiences to our athletes and our many guests and visitors.

The annual Awards provide an opportunity to showcase the best of the Canberra region’s tourism operators as well as promote, encourage and reward tourism excellence. The Awards are open to all tourism businesses and suppliers to the tourism industry and serve to demonstrate the value of tourism to Canberra and the region.
