Tomato, mushroom & capsicum pide pizza
- Serves 4-6 for 2 pizzas
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 100g mushrooms
- 1/2 cup grated low-fat cheese
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 small green capsicum, deseeded and diced
- 2 tbs chopped fresh chives, to garnish
Method
- Combine tahini and garlic and spread over dough.
- Top with mushrooms, cheese, tomatoes and capsicum.
- When pizzas are cooked, sprinkle with chives.
Athletes with high fuel needs (e.g. endurance athletes, athletes who are growing, athletes aiming to increase muscle mass) require extra carbohydrate-based ingredients and a larger serve size
Athletes with low fuel needs (e.g. skill-based athletes, athletes trying to reduce body fat) need to opt for a smaller serve size
