Terriyaki chicken skewers
- Preparation time 5 minutes + marinating time
- Cooking time 6 minutes
- Serves 4
Ingredients
- 8 bamboo skewers
- 2 tbsp rice wine
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 500g chicken thigh fillets, sliced into 2cm cubes
- vegetables, steamed, to serve
Method
- Soak the skewers in cold water for 10 minutes. Combine all ingredients except vegetables in a bowl and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Thread the chicken onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
- Grill for 6 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve with vegetables
HINT: Serve with MAGGI 2 Minute Noodles made according to packet directions minus seasoning.
