Steamed pears
- Serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 pears (such as beurre bosc), peeled
- 4 tbs honey
- pinch ground cinnamon
- pinch ground nutmeg
- 400g NESTLE All Natural 99% Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt
Method
- Cut tops off pears (these will become lids) and core.
- Stand pears upright in a bamboo steamer or steamer insert.
- Fill each pear with 1 tablespoon of honey and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Place top portion back on top of each pear.
- Cover, and place steamer over a saucepan of simmering water.
- Steam pears for 15-20 minutes or until soft.
- Serve with yogurt.
