Savoury scrolls

Ingredients
- 30g butter
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- ¾ cup milk
- ¼ cup tomato relish
- 100g lean ham, chopped
- ¼ cup marinated capsicum, dried on paper towel and sliced
- 1½ cups reduced-fat grated cheese
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Lightly grease and line a 23cm x 23cm square cake tin.
- Rub butter into flour until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
- Stir in milk and mix with a knife until dough comes together. Knead with hands until smooth.
- Roll dough into 30–40cm rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread dough with relish. Cover evenly with ham, capsicum and cheese, reserve a handful to sprinkle on top.
- Roll dough from long side.
- Slice into 12 pieces and place in pan close together. Sprinkle with reserved cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
HINT: Scrolls are best served warm on the day they are made.
