Hawaiian toast
- Preparation time 5 minutes
- Cooking time 2 minutes
- Serves 2
Ingredients
- 4 slices wholemeal bread
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 180g can tuna in springwater, drained
- ½ small green capsicum, sliced
- 1/3 cup pineapple pieces, drained
- ¾ cup grated reduced-fat cheese
Method
- Spread bread with tomato paste
- Top with tuna, capsicum and pineapple.
- Finish with cheese.
- Grill under a hot grill for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly golden.
HINT: Don't overcook or they will end up too crunchy. They can also be served cold in lunch boxes.
