Chow Mein

- Serves 4
Ingredients
- oil for cooking
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 500g beef mince
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 carrot, finely sliced
- 1 red capsicum, finely sliced
- 130g red or green cabbage, shredded
- ½ cup frozen corn kernels
- ½ cup frozen peas
- ¼ cup MAGGI Oyster Sauce
- ¼ cup kecap manis
- ½ cup chicken stock
- rice, cooked, to serve
Method
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Cook onion, garlic, and mince for 1–2 minutes or until browned, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon. Add curry powder and stir until fragrant.
- Add carrot and capsicum and cook for 2 minutes or until just starting to soften.
- Add cabbage, corn, peas, MAGGI Oyster Sauce, kekap manis, curry powder and stock and cook for 5 minutes. Serve with rice.
