Chocolate slice

- Cooking time 15 minutes + 5 minutes standing time

Ingredients
- 1 cup UNCLE TOBYS VITA BRITS, crushed
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 tbsp NESTLÉ Baking Cocoa
- 150g margarine, melted
Chocolate icing:
- 2 tbsp NESTLÉ Baking Cocoa
- 1½ cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp margarine, softened
- 1–2 tbsp hot water
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease and line a 20cm x 30cm baking tray.
- Combine UNCLE TOBYS VITA BRITS crumbs, flour, sugar, coconut and NESTLÉ Baking Cocoa in a bowl.
- Add margarine and combine until all ingredients are moist.
- Press into prepared tray and flatten using the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes and allow to cool in tray for 5 minutes.
- To make icing, sift NESTLÉ Baking Cocoa and icing sugar. Add vanilla, margarine and enough water to form a spreading consistency.Beat until well combined.
- When slice is cool pour chocolate icing over the top and leave to set.
- Cut into 20 pieces.
