Meatballs with spaghetti

Ingredients
- 500g lean beef mince
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 small onion, grated,
- 1 apple, peeled and grated
- 1 small carrot, grated
- 1/3 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley, plus extra, to serve
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 700ml passata (or tomato pasta sauce)
- spaghetti, to serve
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Combine mince, garlic, onion, apple, carrot, breadcrumbs and parsley in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Shape into meat balls and place in ovenproof dish.
- Pour passata over meatballs and cover and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove lid and bake for a further 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve with spaghetti and sprinkle with parsley.
