Australia’s most successful Olympian of all time, swimmer Ian Thorpe, dropped into the AIS for a surprise visit to lift athlete spirits ahead of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Thorpie met with the Australian Rollers wheelchair basketball team, the AIS-based athletics squad and the Olympic artistic swimming squad to chat about the challenges of the past year and to share some advice.
