The AIS has partnered with Hnry to offer categorised athletes and high performance coaches discounted access to the digital accounting platform as well as ongoing financial wellbeing education.

Founded in 2017, Hnry has quickly grown to have over 40,000 customers across Australia and New Zealand and become the leading all-in-one digital accounting service for contractors, freelancers, sole traders and the self-employed.

The partnership will see categorised athletes and high performance coaches receive discounted access to Hnry as well as ongoing financial wellbeing education.

AIS Executive General Manager, AIS Performance Matti Clements says more athletes joining Hnry is a great outcome for the high performance sport sector.

“This partnership is a great example of the AIS investing in athletes to win well,” Ms Clements said.

“We are delighted to partner with Hnry as they’re the ideal platform to support our athletes and the unique lifestyles they live which often has multiple income streams.”

“This partnership will benefit athletes by making it easier for them to handle their taxes and allows them more time to commit to training, recovery and the more enjoyable things in life.”

Hnry Australia Managing Director Karan Anand said he’s excited to be able to support Australian athletes.

"At Hnry, we understand that self-employed athletes face unique challenges in managing their tax administration and we're here to help them take that burden away from them so they can do what they do best - compete and win,” said Mr Anand.

“We are delighted to partner with the Australian Institute of Sport, providing Hnry’s software, services and team to empower athletes to manage their taxes with ease and confidence, ensuring they achieve both financial and athletic success."
