Whether you currently work in high performance sport or are a former athlete looking to get involved, the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) is seeking expressions of interest for a variety of career-enhancing programs within the sports sector.
AIS Athlete Accelerate Program
The AIS Athlete Accelerate Program is available to retired female athletes who are looking to transition into roles within the sports industry.
The program is designed to provide the skills, support, and learning necessary to assist women navigate a professional career in sport.

HP Coach Mentorship Program
The HP Coach Mentorship Program assists high performance coaches of categorised athletes with their growth and development by providing critical guidance and support.
Mentees are matched with an experienced and successful coach mentor, and both will have access to ongoing support from the AIS HP Coach Development Team for the duration of the program.

Women’s Talent Program [STEMM]
The AIS Women's Talent Program (STEMM) is a free six-month program for women working in high performance sport who specialise in science, technology, engineering, maths or medicine disciplines.
The program focuses on developing self, relational and system leadership skills and strengthening professional networks across the sport sector.

Professional Skills Programs
The ASC has developed a series of Professional Skills programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals working across the sport sector.
Applications are now open for programs scheduled for the next 6 months, including:
Developing Others: This program will help leaders across the sport system broaden their perspectives and develop others to succeed in a complex and continuously changing environment.
Stakeholder Management:Designed to help navigate the complex sport stakeholder system by initiating and maintaining strategic networks and relationships.
Optimising Collaboration for Performance:A program to enable individuals working as members of teams to build skills and behaviours to maximise their impact as an expert and team member.
Ethical Leadership: Suitable for executive level leaders, this program will prepare and support participants to rapidly, effectively and appropriately respond to ethically challenging leadership scenarios.

Team Dynamics Program
This bespoke program is designed to support teams within National Sporting Organisations and the National Institute Network who want to improve ways of working and build a sustainable high-performing culture.
It includes team dynamics workshops, executive coaching and leadership profiling and tailored solutions that align with the team’s strategic goals.
