The AIS welcomes a new partnership with high performance equipment specialist, AlphaFit.

Established in 2012, the 100% Australian-owned family business manufactures gymnasium gear specifically made for the strength and conditioning and high-performance community.

AIS Performance Services Lead Ross Smith said the partnership with AlphaFit will benefit the thousands of athletes who train at the high performance gym each year.

“We are delighted to partner with AlphaFit and give our athletes access to the best equipment in Australia," Smith said.

“A key requirement for our gym is that it’s functional for athletes and coaches across all Para and Able sports. AlphaFit is the only supplier in Australia that will custom build to our standards.”

A recent upgrade to the weightlifting and strength area saw seven custom AlphaFit Power Cages with multi-grip chin up bars and a comprehensive selection of rig attachments installed.

The cages have been configured to provide greater accessibility to Para athletes.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Australian Institute of Sport as we continue to drive elite athletic excellence and representation for Australia's top athletes, while supporting all communities to be involved in sport,” AlphaFit Head of Marketing, Stephen Deane said.

“Together with the AIS, we’re not just supplying world-class equipment and flooring—we’re fuelling future generations of sporting success, ensuring every athlete has the tools they need to achieve their full potential,” Deane said.
