High Performance Coach Development

AIS High Performance (HP) Coach Development program supports Australian coaches on their journey to greatness.

Coach development is a multifaceted and continuous learning process aimed at fostering the growth and evolution of coaches. The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) defines it as the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and expertise through both structured and opportunistic experiences. This holistic approach goes beyond any single method, program, or experience, requiring a long-term vision to influence coaching behaviours, beliefs, and practices.

This is achieved through our strategic focus areas of:

HP Coach Learning and Development: Creating bespoke, impactful initiatives to equip coaches for future challenges.

System Connection and Collaboration: Facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration within a world-leading HP coaching ecosystem.

Sustainable Coaching Environments: Supporting environments that attract and retain diverse coaching talent, maximizing performance potential.
